They may not be the cheapest, but their prices are normally quite keen and they are v. reliable :

Careful what you buy... there is some real carp about.

Regardless of who makes the discs, your real worry is getting rejects. I've seem some total junk lately where the first 10 discs in a spindle of 25 work fine, then the rest won't read past 2.5Gb or similar.

If the price seems too good to be true, it might well be.

Having said that, if you are wanting cheap but reasonable media have a look at www.lordofthedeals.co.uk these have quantity deals on Infiniti/Discrite media. These were 2x discs that Prodisc made for Sony. They must have not quite reached Sony's standards or something but I have to say that of those I've recommended the discs to, almost everyone has come back and said they work well. At 22p each, they're a steal. But buy a smaller amount first.

Hmmmm. .......... lordofthedeals eh ?

This outfit were in a scrap recently with another member of this forum, after advertising disks as Riteks, when they weren't.
Also someone was spamming for lordofthedeals, so I would be very careful !! ..... see here :

Also Infiniti/Discrite media are not brilliant and with the price of Riteks falling by the day, I know which ones I would prefer

Cheapest is not always good criteria to search by

Hey guys, thanks for the posts, maybe I did post wrongly there,I do agree on quality, I didnt really mean the cheapest of the cheap, but a compramise maybe between a half decent disc and price. In a perfect world we could all buy top notch media, but I'm kinda low in funds at the mo,only got enough left for one more business venture, lol, just doin a bit of reliable research and gathering good opinions in here =)

Whichever ones you decide to get, the potential for the best deals comes from the 2x media. If these are sold on ebay you can make a few pounds a spindle

So it depends on what your business venture is. If it's selling cheap DVDRs on ebay, than the one I mentioned or www.discountdvdr.com who are selling Princo White Labels (battered boxes, sold as B-Grade but mostly OK) for 16p a shot are good money-spinners.

If it's actually writing on DVDRs then something better is probably called for. Although to be fair I have had zero issues with the Infinitis -- much of the perceived knowledge out there is based on hearsay and prejudice, but it's up to you ultimately how much you want to spend.

Whatever you do, and I warn you here from bitter experience, DO NOT BUY OVERPRINT DVDRs. Far too much trouble. Strangely, most of them are Riteks, but just don't do it. OK?
