Unhappy What Monitor/Mouse/Keyboard UK Only?

Hi folks,

hoping someone can advise me here. Basically I have just got myself a new tower, thats silver and blue in colour.

Now apart from trying to get things match so it looks good to the eye, I am also wanting to upgrade my monitor to a TFT monitor, and also get a decent mouse & Keyboard.

I am keen on the idea of a cordless mouse & keyboard, but due to been limited with desk space I would prefer a mouse with a tracker ball.

Anyhow, I would appreciate it if you would leave a few ideas of what to go for regarding these 3 items. I have been advised to go for a 19" TFT monitor, which to me seems big, but was advised the bigger screen the better font size, pixel rate, etc.

So, please...any advice, any offers you have seen, please let me know.

Dean

This really is down to personal choice, personally I do not think much of the advice you have been given, I do not like TFT's but that is just my opinion. Have you seen [url=http://www.cdrom-guide.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=269511]this topic.

Keyboard has one requirement, the rest is personal & cosmetic

I use a MS Trackball Explorer- performance second to none MO, main thing is I like the layout, feel, and operation, it suits me :-)

Do a bit of work and read some professional and user reviews on the type and size of monitor you want, they are plentifull.

If you want good looks and good performance check out Sony TFT's, they have excellent response rates, brilliant displays and look great. They also cost more than other TFT's. Go and look at them at John lewis's (Looking doesn't cost anything).

Pay particular attention to the dead pixel warranty remarks, if I wanted a TFT I would accept nothing less than the monitor and service quality Insomniac mentioned in my link above.
