Default anyone know a good gaming monitor 19" for about 150 quid?


 
lookin to get a bigger monitor 19" . Anyone know of any good deals on at the moment?

got a budget of around 150 quid (prob can stretch that a bit more)

Thats the pro version the std version is available for around £120 but is still a quality monitor.

There are some with Sony tubes going for £140 on Ebay so I am told, seems good to me for the money.

All you can hope for with that budget is a shadow mask tube, so it won't and can't be flat screen, no matter what the advertising says.

That doesn't mean you can't get something decent.

The best one I've seen and read about is the NEC V930 MultiSync.

It has a refresh rate of 85 Hertz at 1600 x 1200, and awesome colour and contrast.

Not sure if it still made, but well worth chasing up and only 160 squids.

the IIyama pro in the link above is an NEC V930 MultiSync, (now 930sb) both the same with different casings/branding, both made by misubishi, the only difference really is the IIyama is around £50 cheaper than the nec.
