The only thing I can say its next time do a floppy bootup on XP Admin password.!! I have one just in case I lose my memory some day.

Another good program I have found is ERD Commander. I't will allow you to change the password on ANY Computer! I'm not sure of the companies name that makes it, try googling it.

Why waste your time cracking it just download or obtain a copy of knoppix linux runs from the cd you can access all the files with that and run the majority of applications maybe even change the pass all though i havent tried that. ***********.knoppix.org/

otherwise you need to retrieve the sam file and crack it with L0phtCrack as mentioned or john the ripper which is free but wont crack passes longer than 8 chars. you should find both with google

couldnt edit my post but if you use knoppix and can get the accounts manager to run under wine windows emulator that is used to run windows apps by knoppix you could create an account with admin privalages.

I dont want to seem perdantic ,but it's not a case of skill is it !
You don't have the skill to crack the admin password.
That's why you are here asking everyone how to do it.
