Default Function driver not found

Hi,
I'm developing a CDC compliant USB modem driver .It supports multiple interfaces. The second interface is BULK IN/ OUT . When I tried to install UsbSer,sys for that interface it displays "Driver cannot be installed as function driver not found for this driver instance". I got a sample INF file which had Class as Ports. Where can I get a sample INF file for this driver. Do I need to install modem.sys also(As per a discussion posted it was specified tha t "As per PNP stack usbser.sys is filter driver and modem.sys is function driver"). If I had to install how do I do that?
Thanks in advance
Priya
