It didn't decompress. It said could not render video stream.

What now?

I've been trying to contact almostfamous88. He is the only I guy I know who can help with a probablem. If anyone know how to find him, please tell me, it's important. Oh, and I'm sorry this is off topic, but I really need help. I just got an account about 10 minutes ago. Thanks.

I have no idea, that decompression has worked for me the few times I need it. I would suggest you search ***********.videohelp.com/ for info.

Hello,
I'm having trouble with mkv files too.
When i play the file on Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player and even Divx Playa's the file works but after a few seconds the viewer crashes, every single time it does this. The file is an anime lol and i was wandering whether or not it was because there were two audio files as i hear english and japanese dring the few seconds of watching.
I followed all the instructions on videohelp.com from the link posted above to see if it would work than and got all the downloads they instructed only when it comes time to decompressing the decompressor just freezes really.

Would appreciate help on this. Thank you

Fiddled around for a few hours and found the problem...silly me lol
