Default Super CDG

Gram,

A Super CDG (SCDG) created on a 4.7 GB DVD, is comprised of 4 or 5 900MB DAT files. These disks are only playable on a few CAVS players, and the MCG file format is proprietary to CAVS. Two good things, however, are that you can now buy commercial SCDG collections, and the players are relatively inexpensive. The DVD-202G for example, costs about $210. I've seen this player in action, and once the disk is loaded, it scans for individual tracks very quickly. It's big drawback is that it has only one DVD drive, so there's no ability to queue up between drives.

Default Uncreating SCDG

As far as I know, SCDGs can't be reversed. If they can, neither CAVS or anybody else, has released a DAT file decoder to do the job. Good question, though.

Post Despratly SCDG

Thanks, But It is more than a question at this time for me. I use a pc karaoke based system. The format that I use for my songs is a ziped mp3+g file. The program I use is sax n' dotty's. I have to say it does a great job. The nutech's I bought don't use that format so I'm not able to includ them in my hoster program. Thus when I do a show I'm forced to run two programs, Sax n' Dotty's and CAVS player program which doesn't have may options. So now I have been trying to rip the disks into either a bin., mp3+g., cdg., or any other file format that I can then convert into eventuwaly a ziped mp3+g format. So I'm scowering the internet and every forum I come across in hopes that this can be done. I spoke with CAVS and they said that they don't offer a decoder program for their Nutech disk which you are very correct in saying. And they are not very forthcomming on helping me with my endever. I there is my peace and If any one has any advise please please pretty please.... shoot me an email or or another post. I would greatly apriceate this.

Thank you.

If you send me an email lable the subject "SCDG SAVIOR" and send it to Jcummines2000@yahoo.com

Thanks once again I really apriceate the help.
