Default DVD Unlock Code Database

sponsored links

If you're interested, check out the following pay-site for a decent database of DVD handset codes. It's got a few machines that other sites don't feature, so I'm recommending it. It seems a good place to go for those rarer machines by the looks of things.

It's actually got a Sony unlock on one of its front pages. I don't know whether it works though, as I heard Sony machines can't be unlocked with a handset code? Who knows. Anyway, here's a link to the free page - the codes might be of some use to you.

Lightbulb DVD Codes databases and region free question

Re: www.dvdexploder.com I suppose you have to give credit to webmasters putting together all those dvd codes and dvd unlocks, even if some of them do beg for contributions.

What I want to know is, at what point do DVD player manufacturers add DVD code and DVD unlock protection? Just before shipping or as the players are being built?

In my opinion, all players should be DVD region free.

So there.
