Default All blanks recognised as audio?

Just got a dvd-r burner a pionner 107.I have installed it as the secondary master and im pretty sure its connected correctly.Windows recognieses it at the startup.However all blanks are read as audio cds,it will read written dvds but all blanks are recognised as audio cds with 1.99gb of data.Have i installed something incorrectly?,any1 else have this problem?

Default i have the same problem

i have the same burner but a later model. 105. it says the same thing. i'm using beall dvd's. i haven't figured it out. at first i thought the dvd's were a bad batch. i dont think so but i don't know yet. let me know if you figure anything out. thank you. bye.

What software you reading them with? Your software might be out of date for such a new writer.

ive got the latests version of nero,of eberything.Even reinstalled windows but to no avail.
I think its a windows SE problem,im suprsied no 1 else has had it

I had the same problem...it's your burner. I bought a batch of really cheap DVD-R's and they were being read as audio CD's. Even some pricey big name brands were being read as audio CD's. When my burner died, I got a new one and the new one is reading all of the " audio CD's " and it is burning them as well. There's probably no fix for this problem other than getting another burner. Sorry!
