Default 8.5gb DVD burner - which one?

Hi all, I need a DVD writer which can store upate 8.5gb-9gb but have no idea what I should be looking for - is it called "Dual Layer"?

dual layer, double layer same thing. Get a Nec, Pioneer or Plextor from newegg.com

You didn't say what computer you have.

You're the handiest, Handyguy.

Easily the best value and most versatile burner on the market at the moment is the LG GSA-4120B.

It can burn anything you throw at it, single (12x) and dual-layer DVD+R(2.4x), plus all the DVD-R/RW formats (8x and 4x), DVD-RAM (3x), CD-R (40x), and CD-RW (24X).

Wow, that's handy. Not. That is almost twice what those writers I mentioned cost. Id rather have two of those than one of yours.

Plus, mine can do DL at 4x & 16x dvd writing.
