Default Dvd only plays first 3 chapters

sponsored links

I just got a dvd in .vob format and burnt the whole thing with nero to a ritek dvd-r, after putting t in my dvd player, it played the adverts and loaded the menu fine. So at this point i was thinking great, then all of a sudden it got to chapter 3 and the picture went all screwed up and i couldnt go back to the menu or watchany other chapters. I tried the dvd in another dvd player and the same thing happened again. However windows media player can play the .vob's fine, so i know its not a problem with the data. Also as an interesting point to add when burning the disc when it got to about 12% the buffer completely ran out and went straight to 0%, this was at 4x.
and thats about it, i have no idea wat is going on, and would appreciate any help available, thanks.
