Default Very big problem with CDROM and D*****

I just installed reinstalled both my cdrom device and my dvd burner because all of a sudden my computer stopped recognizing them heres the message that's displayed to me in device manager:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Its a Samsung SD-612 Driver.

Any clue on what to do?

This is a very common thing with XP (Usually) and happens because a burning program has corrupted the registry.

[url=http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314060/EN-US/]HERE is the solution.
