Default Mitsumi cr-48x9te problems


 
Hello im having a problem this cdrw drive doesn't read any cdr's that go in there for some odd reason real application cds it will autorun it but not cdr's with stuff on it when i put it in my dvd drive it will show the contents of the disc the files im thinking maybe i need to update it get a driver but ive searched the web cant find it can someone please help! im running windows Xp Service pack 2 1.67 ghz 80 gb hard drive 512 mb ddr sdram help!

You didn't find drivers because you don't need any.

Window's supports all optical drives.

You don't need any add-on drivers whatsoever.

Is the drive listed in My Computer and in Device Manager correctly with no errors reported?

ok something weird is going on when i put a REAL CD IN not a cd r it works when i put a cd r in it doesn't recongnize it for some damn weird reason.... i dont get it i see both drives in control panel.....

Again, is the drive listed in My Computer and in Device Manager correctly with no errors reported?

Yes i can see them and it says both devices are working properly no errors in device manager.......

How long has it been doing this for and has anything changed since it started?

Has it ever worked in that computer or has anything been installed recently?

What happens when you put a CDR in? Do you get an error message or what?
