Dms4 - Ver5/6 Question / With Picture

I have a version 5/6 PS2 - I modded it and i am not sure if its working. I copied a game using dvd decrypter using fujifilm dvd-r and a sony +r disc - both games give me the red screen. Then i tried burning one of those cd-r play snes games on ur modded ps2 and that loaded correctly. Would the PS2 only read that cdr if the DMS4 Mod was installed correctly? Is there a CD / DVD i can burn that would test if the mod was installed correctly - i dont know if i should concentrate on re-solidering the chip or looking into different media / copying methods. Any help much appreciated
