I installed a Magic V PLUS on my V7 PS2... when i turned it on, there was nothing on the screen. Does anyone know why? And/or what wires I should look at to fix this problem?

Magic V is extremely sensitive to excessive wire lengths and how you actually place both wires and the chip itself so keep the wires as short as you can and try until it works. I tried once and gave up.

You might want to check the fuses as well, I fried a 202 fuse on a v12 slimline and thats what i got, nothing. Replaced the fuse and away it went.

Its also worth re-checking your solder points, around the bios pins, and check for any wires being squashed.
