Question Opinions needed!

Does anyone out there have any first hand knowledge about the CAVS 103G? What do you think about it? Is it an improvement over the CAVS202G? Would you recomend it? What drawbacks are there? Thanks in advance for your input.

Thanks again, IRISH-LASS

I've used the 202G, and like it very much. If you can find the 103G for $200 USD, or under, buy it. It supports mpeg4, is slimmer, and it supports two mics instead of one (though if you're planning to use it commercially this won't matter).

The only problem with the CAVS 202G, and probably the 103G, is that they can get hot, and sometimes skip. If I were you, and you can afford it, buy two and use them both at shows (one would be back-up). My friends that do shows have (2) 202Gs per set-up. I was at a show where the player started skipping...it wasn't pretty! Actually, most KJs I know have two players at all shows, no matter what format their music is in.

Been using the 202 in my show for almost a year with no problems. Have the 203 at my house. Like the concept of having hundreds of songs on a single dvd, can be a little daunting to create them unless you don't have any issues where you would need any support from CAVS (pretty ugly).
