Your question's a bit confusing. If I understand you correctly, you want to know if you have a movie burned onto a CD can you watch it by playing it in your CD drive. Is this correct? If so...yes. That's one of the things that a CD drive is supposed to be used for. So don't be shy...give it a try! Let us know if this is not what your original question meant.

If I understand you properly, it's advisable to copy your movie on your HDD and watch the film from there. You need your CD-ROM unit for another jobs and it's life is limited.

Default sorry, I should have typed 'CD-ROM drive'.

I heard a note that, one should not view movie from CD-Drive,but should be from DVD-Drive.

And copying movies to hard disk will create bad sectors, something like that.

is it anything like these??

please make me clear!

thank you friends.

Copying every time a DVD on HDD is very difficult, but there is the same problem with the life of the DVD-ROM. In this case I recommend DVD Idle a program which uses a technique of cashing files. In 100 minute film the optical unit runs only for 15-20 minutes.
