Unhappy Problem makin PS2 backups with LG GSA-4120B

Hi everyone

I've been making PS2 backups (PS2 DUO 2 SE chipped) for a while now using a LG GSA-4120B burner (single layer) and Nero Expess (direct DVD copy function) and it used to work perfectly.

But it seems I can't make backups anymore as my LG dvd drive doesn't seem to "regonize" newer PS2 games (NFS Most Wanted, Fifa 2006, Call of Duty 2...) anymore (I can't even start burning). Even in windows explorer it looks like there is no disc in the drive. The funny thing is that I can make backups of DVD movies perfectly just like before.

Is this due to new game protections? Is it my burner that is "too old" for the new PS2 games?? Is it Nero ??

I need you guys to help me fix this and keep playin' !!! I know y'all extremely skilled folks and some of ya'll probably know the answer... It would be well appreciated!!

Thanks
