there is supposedly some kind of copy protection on the new itunes, im not sure what its supposed to do. What ive read about it is that it wont let you burn music from the store or something i dunno. I also heard that it doesnt let downloaded songs from limewire or another p2p import into itunes. I dont know if this is truw or not, any helP???

I've been using iTunes 6.0.3 and it doesn't have any copy protection toward songs downloaded from anywhere else except iTunes. Songs that you get from the iTunes music store can only be heard from the computer that bought them unless they give you authorization (done by writting a login and password) of which you can only give to 5 different computers tops. I suppose there's away around this, but I haven't looked for it.

Other songs gotten through any other mean will not be affected. So I don't mind since I never buy from the iTunes music store.

but what if you download a song that was bought from the itunes store. For example say someone bought a song, put it in their limewire shared folder and i download it, will it let me play it?

Five second search through google and I found the answer:

***********.hymn-project.org/

It's not that hard to look for them just google what you want and it's there.
