Default Install Ripper IV

hey guys , me and my dad , we are installing a Ripper IV chip , me i say i gotta weld those 2 blank dot-arrow together and he says no, so? what we do?

Yep for a v4 unit you need to bridge the chip as indicated, but if you mean the two blank circles on the board then no these are not needed.
