Default Dreamcast with CD-ROM !!??

Is there any way to plug a standard CD-ROM in the Dreamcast ??, i 've this question a log time ago, coz' the security check is based on software_

I have no idea, but even if you were able to do so, it wouldn't be able to play GDs, so I don't see the point, really.

Would be ok for homebrew and backups, though, I suppose.

Just wanted to say hello to anyone who still comes on here, this forum was very helpful to me years ago, and the site as a whole, actually.

The DC is still my favourite console.

actually it's to run backups, now that there's no more nu games, it still has all time classics that i want 2 play again on my old DC, with a new CD-ROM_
