Well, Nickisixx, sure sounds like it's time for a new video card. Like I said before, with a 3rd party cooling fan, forget the warranty.

And modo, I agree with much that you had to say lol.
Also, thanks for picking me up on my english blunder

You sure you don't sell insurance ??

damn

okay. what would you guys recommend getting then? It would obviously have to be an AGP card. Should it be the ATI x850 or Nvidia's 7800??

thanks for your suggestions

O yeah, it`s definitely the graphics card or the mobo interface. Borrow one off a friend and try it out, or try yours in someone else`s PC.
If you still have the original fan put it back on and try for warranty.

thanks

So let's say that the card works in another PC - which means that it's the mobo interface.... What exactly can i do (if anything)? Just RMA it (if i can) or is there something that I can do

and if i do need a new video card - which AGP card would you recommend? The x850 or the nvidia 7800 series?

Thanks for your help!

If it's the motherboard and it's under warranty, send it back.

If you want another video card, see if you can get a 7900GS or 7800GS.
