Default Vista

I have currently installed VIsta after being invited to test the new beta 2 version, the file is 3.37GB and bloats to 8.25GB when installed so you will need a huge HDD,120GB is probably best (or more).
The graphics are great and the GUI is friendly also the new activation methods are a sure to stop piracy thieves.

However the downside to the program is that it takes nearly 2 hours to completely load so best to format your HDD and copy the files to your HDD and boot from a Command prompt (this will be faster for sure)

Plus when you do a re-boot to start using it, this takes some considerable time too.

Downside at the moment is that there are very few anti-virus products that support Vista at moment.

Eventually this will be a great release, i however will stay with XP as i have just managed to use all the features in that lol.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I couldn't resist.

What's so great about Vista's activation method that won't be cracked like EVERY other attempt?

Like everything else, it will be cracked on the day of release, if not before.
