how to setup conecxtion between xbox nd pc

i have a crossover cable connected to xbox and pc and the tough part is setting up ip of xbox and pc's i dunno how to obtain xbox's ip
i have seen sum xbox tuts in one tut it says u shd hav a evolution x installed on xbox i dont hav evo x installed on my xbox so how shd i install it! if i dont install Evo X can i FTP teh xbox i made an Evo x disc
Cd-r and burned in Xiso format but my xbox is not Recognizing it
so i made EvoX dvd still it is unable to read it

help me plz!!!!!

ok first of all the only way to get your xboxs ip is through evox. second the only way to get evox is softmod. yes ive been there makeing evox disk148 disks i made and i have enogh coasters to build a house anyway evox disks wont work so get rid of em. you need ether 007 ajent under fire mech assult or spinter cell pandora tomaro. then you have to get the evox softmod install and action replay. put the hacked save on the memery card and load up wat ever game you got with the save COPYED TO YOUR HDD. then you can ftp to it from there. but you cant ftp with out hack dash and evox cds of any kind dont work because the hacked dash also puts in new firm ware on how to read burnd disks. the original dash only can read disks with specal security secters that you cant burn
