Post Help..!

@ 4SKIN, because he seems to know his stuff about this...

Right...I have tried so many times to create a backup disk to play on my ps2 and I just can't do it. I have tried with both DVD-RW and DVD+RW..but i don't know whether it is the ISO file or disks that are playin up. I use swap magic.

This may sound really lazy and cheeky but do you make backups to sell? Because I really can't make backups....

Thanks..

Cool

Allright 4skin I made an account on this site just to ask you this question, so I'm really hoping you can help. I recently "came across" some old Playstation ISO files and I would LOVE to play them on my PS2 however I dont know how exactly to go about that. Not only am I sure it's a bit more complicated then just burning the ISO files to a CDR but my PS2 is an old version not one that spits out the drive with an eject button unlike its new sleek younger brother that opens up from the top so I cant exactly trick it into thinking its shut when its not. Any tips on how I gotta burn this and play it on there?

Oh and I'd rather not mod it btw.

4SKIN, much like the last guy to ask you a question, I signed-up for this forum just to ask you a couple questions.

-To burn a back up copy of the Ps2 game, do you just copy the ISO file straight to the DVD-R disk? And are will there be multiple ISO files to burn or just 1 large one?

-Will a back-up copy of a Ps2 game work for Ps3 systems since they have the backward compatibility feature?

-Also can you back up Ps3 games the same way you do a Ps2 game?

Thanks 4SKIN. Thanks to anyone else who can help me out also.

Talking Can somebody give me STEP-BY-STEP directions on how to burn PS2 games?

in regards to @ 4Skin advice
and @ keltin2002

i've tried the following:
1. d.load dvd decrypter (took me a long time to sniff around and finally got if after a few hundred clicks of "this item had been removed due to legal reasons...)
2. have a ps2 game. have a modded magic chip PS2 console (china made)
3. run/install the program
4. did the instructions @ keltin2002 stated (burn at 1X speed)
5. used a 8X-speed DVD+R disc instead of a DVD-R
(burning took approx. 10mins on Athlon-X2 dual core + samsung dvd burner)
6. tried the backed up game on my ps2 console
7. guess what. WORKED LIKE A CHARM.!!! the game loaded and run perfectly.

a big thanks to keltin2002 and 4Skin. but i've noticed a little lag in the backed up game, i mean slow startup. issit normal? or maybe it is the game.
anyways thanks.
