wireless networking stress
hi my mate has a ntl broadband modem downstairs and it's plugged into a lynksys wifi router.
upstairs is a desktop computer and plugged into it is
Linksys Wireless-G USB Network Adapter.
well everything was working fine with wpa encryption but suddenly the desktop pc stopped working.
you can still use the internet on a laptop.
I turned off the encryption and everything worked again.
then I tried wep encryption. The desktop upstairs worked but now the laptop always says trying to aquire network address.
the laptop works when you plug the ethernet cable into it but not works with wireless.
my mate asked me but i don't know cos i only have 1 pc.
