Question Help! convert AVI to VCD

Hi
i need really need help!!!!
i have avi file and i want to convert VCD.... not VCD file. i want to convert into VCD that can play on DVD player if compatable. Is it possible??? if it is possible could you let me know please. step by step if possible.


--i checked out already-all i could find is convert from 1file to another

Yes it is possible. You have to use a program called TMPGenc. The program can be downloaded from here.

To find out how to do it step by step. Read the tuturial that can be located here.

i think i downloaded the TMPGenc, and i used those step by step on VCDhelp too. i didn' work. Do i have to install the TMPGenc? Anyway, will use those step again. if it still doesn't work will, I will post again.

Just extract the files in the TMPGenc to a folder. The steps should work, if not post the problems you are having, and I will do my best to help.

i may have the wrong end of the stick but

i use nero the converts the file for me

Yeah Nero works to doing the drag and drop, but some others (like me ^_^) usually use Tmpgenc to encode it. More options are available in that process.
