Default Import AVI files to Sony Movie Studio

sponsored links

In order to edit AVI clips in Sony Movie Studio smoothly, you can install some formats like k-lite, but there are so many people stating how it can cause more problems than it solves. The easy and effective solution is to convert AVI into another format that Sony Movie Studio can handle. The basic reason is that AVI is actually a container for many possible video codecs. There are a lot of exotic video codecs in use and Sony Movie Studio cannot decode them all. The two biggest culprits are DivX and Xvid- Sony Movie Studio can't read them.*

With the right tool, you can convert DivX/Xvid AVI to a more editing-friendly format, such as MPEG-2 for the Movie Studio 11/12/13. Here is*Pavtube Video Converter Ultimate*is suggested.

The program is an easy-to-use yet powerful video converter, player and editor, which can help you change AVI into a different format like MPEG-2 with least quality loss. You should then be able to import the new file into Sony Movie Studio with smooth editing without any trouble.*

Besides, this powerful video converter also can convert other videos including MP4, AVI, MOV, MXF, MTS, etc to*Vegas Pro,*Pinnacle Studio, Windows Movie Maker, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro and more NLE supported format on Windows.*What's more, with its built-in Editor, you can crop, trim, add effects, subtitles to your AVI files as you need. Follow the guide below, you will be able to make Sony Vegas Pro read AVI files with ease in few minutes.
