Default "Unable to read disc error in PS2" Cant read Columbia Pictures DVDR Backups.

sponsored links

I have sucessfully burned about 20 (full backup) dvd's using dvd decrypter and instant dvd with the pioneer A03 drive. These discs all play without problems on my ps2. However three other dvd's I have burned fail to play on the ps2. I get a "unable to read disc" error. The three movies in question are:

1. The Big Hit
2. Gattaca
3. Monty Python and the Holy Grail

The only thing I noticed that these are all Columbia-Tri Star films.

These dvd's play fine on the pc dvd drive.

Has anyone been able to burn any Columbia movies successfully that play on the PS2?

please advise.

Thanks,

Tae

I havent tried any of those movies but they should work fine.

Did you burn at 1X or 2X I have not tried to burn any Columbia pictures movies but they should work.

You might want to try burning at 1X
