Post 3rd party broadband adapter?

sponsored links

Has any1 ever heard of one? Cuz the prices on these things are ridiculous. I could swear I've seen 3rd party 56k modems on lik-sang or some other HK importer... I've seen a website where some guy connected his 56k-enabled DC to his PC's broadband connection, and he insists it allows his DC to connect at a much higher rate than 56k. I'm sure it's just because the broadband connection eliminates the lag, not because it's connecting faster than 56k. Who's right? Thanks in advance.
