1-SVCD- Super VideoCD, much higher quality than normal VCD, similar to VHS and SVHS. However, due to compression, the files are bigger allowing only up to about 2 episodes of something to a disc. Use on movies, not episodes.

2- DivX- A compression scheme (if not mistaken), a special codec used on AVI files to reduce file size, say you have, oh, 10 episodes of anime in straight AVI format, you would get about 5 MAYBE on a disc. Using DivX to encode them, however, will allow you to put about all ten on to one disc. The only drawback though, is that you have to have the codec on your puter to play them. Not hard to get tho.

3- Screener- A special DVD sent out to certain groups/people. Holds a full length movie not yet released to the public. Many people rip them and make high quality SVCD Rips.

Can't help ya with Telesync.
