Default SVCD Help

I downloaded a 2 part SVCD and there both 800 MB's, more than a discs space. Does it comrpess while burning or whats going on here.

Since it doesn't burn the movie as a data CD, you should be OK. Nero is the program I use (and probably most people use) to burn SVCD. Also, sometimes when a movie has a file size of around 800mb like yours does, you need to turn on the overburn option in preferences and expert featues. This also requires the disc to be burnt using DAO (disc at once) instead of TAO (track at once).
