sponsored links

Like the sub says, converting my ripped DVD file (about 50 min) to avi with TMG (using the built in wizard), and it is saying it's going to take near 29 hours to do the converting??? WHAT??? I thought like 14 was a lot, but 29...is this normal or is there some settings I could adjust...get back to me thanks

There are two reasons it would take 29 hours,
1) you're running the conversion on a 386sx 33Khz box
2) you have the maximum quality selected.

Check out the d2v to MPG [url=***********.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm]TMPGEnc conversion guide and the [url=***********.vcdhelp.com/tmpgencexplained.htm]TMPGEnc settings guide

Are you converting to AVI or MPG?? If you are doing AVI, then perhaps try something else like Virtual Dub.
