was there a no solder mod that worked good for the ps1? nooo u had to swap and still the stuff didnt boot

Don't think so. The PS2 is much more complex than the PS1, so the chip really needs to be soldered to take control of the bios and inject codes and such. The no solder mod just simulates the knife swap, so it's not really taking control of the machine.

no but one day there will be a no solder modchip for are brains that will make us smart enough to mod ps2s arselves lol
