Slowdown on ssx tricky is this normal ? - CDROM-Guide forums

Hi all
I have the dvdr backup of ssx tricky and I get lots of slowdown when you are racing and there is a few peeps on the screen also when the fireworks go off is this normal ?
I have never played the original non backup so cant compare, any info would be great.

Yeah, I get the same problem mate. I also have a DVD-r 'back-up' of this game and I get slowdown, I also get it on Wipeout Fusion too!!! You'd think with all the power the PS2 has this kind of thing should be eliminated.......

Yeah, I noticed that slowdown thing when playing the cdr version as well.

I had the orignal game as well and it played just fine, its something to do with the copy.

thats weird cause I have the cdr and it works fine for me no slowdown at all..
