I doubt that Sega would risk bringing out another system, after the loss of the Sega Dreamcast. But only time will tell if the rumor is true or not.

Well lets see....after the way it sounds........NO its BS. Sega already said NO MORE consoles after the fall of the DC. They are making their $$ as a third party developer. I know it would be nice, but no new Sega machine...who knows tho, maybe in a few years after Sega rules the systems with the best games, then maybe we could see a new system?

I think that Sega is just making games for other systems to get more money to develop a new console. They could also be using the knowledge they are gaining about the Gamecube, XBOX, and PS2 to get an advantage over them so in the future they can use that knowledge against them. Why would a company just say "NO MORE CONSOLES, EVER!" They probably have a plan for the future and just need more money to fulfill that plan. You never know, they might just surprise everyone with a new console...

There will not be another Dreamcast. If they do decide to make another one I feel bad for them because the first Dreamcast was an insult when they stopped making games for it. They could have atleast made Shenmue 2 american version before giving up on the system.

I think they might just come up with another system because everytime sega makes a system that ends up not doing so well, example, Sega Master System, Sega Game Gear, Sega Cd, Sega Saturn, and the finally the dreamcast, they end up making another system. They just keep coming back.
