It goes staight to the CD Player, that's it -- sorry
Are there supposed to be any files in the ROMs folder other than ROMs?

Yes there should be (already in the roms folder):

HAIKEI.PVR
MANATEE.DRV
MOJI01.PVR
OPTION.PVR
STREAM.MLT
GROM.EXE (not needed, but it should be in there already)

in addition to any roms you have (which should be in *.bin format, not *.smd).

If you don't have those files in there, that's probably your problem.

Also, make sure that you run ipins.exe before you burn the iso. And if CDRWin doesn't allow you to check "Open New Session" then it's not going to work.

OK, i did all that.
Any other suggestions?
Any other small details that weren't mentioned in the tutorial?
I'm pretty familiar with burning and DC stuff, but I'm not sure why its not working.
Are there any other tools/utilites, that might be of help during the process?
Thanks BTW

When you run msinfo after you burn the first session, are you getting 0,11700?

If so, and it's still going straight to the cd player, then take a look at the disc in Windows.

What's in the root of the cd? It should be your "roms" folder and a bunch of other files.

Yeah I get 0,11700
There are a bunch of files and the ROMs directory in the root of the CD.
Can't check the whole list of files, cause I'm at work, but I'm pretty sure they were all there.

Just make sure (ie check it), cause one kid I helped out, didn't exactly follow the directions, and wound up with the "data" folder in the root of the cd (with all the files that should have been in the root in the "data" folder).
