Default "New" Datasafe CDR compatibility

sponsored links

Read this on a CDR supplier site:

DATASAFE 32X SILVER PREMIUM CDR

PLEASE NOTE:
Unlike the previous 24X media which used a Princo disc
these Ritek based discs are NOT compatible with DVD Players.

Is the above statement true ?

Bowlocks me thinks, loads of people on here who have said they love their Riteks for standalone work. I can't believe the dye is that different to cause problems.

Haven't used them for a while as 24x prostore and princo's work at 32x no worries.
