HI, i have this machine and can copy to DVD-R no problems !! however,the disks will only play in this machine or P.C. do i have to copy ne files or some thing else (similar to CDI files for VCD) or n e other info?? thanx in advance

Have got one of these machines & have no problems playing them on my 3 dvd players.

I think it's all down to what dvd player you are trying to play them on

are you finalising the discs?

Hi, Yeah you need to finalise the discs to get them to work on other machines. Hit the "top window" button then look for "finalise disc".

Also try using grade 2 media or branded media.

chees lads, Yes i am finalising them, but do DVD players need to see some sort of start up file on the disk?i have a Megadata and a XWAVE standalone players, both try to read the disk, then say NO DISC !! n e help please... cheers for the input..

they are looking for a audio_ts folder which the pansonic doesnt write, it only writes a video_ts folder.
Only way around this is if you have acces to a a03 or similar and use gear pro to import the video ts folder and then it will create a audio_ts folder automatically for you and re write the disk
