How do you config Clone CD (Newest Version) to Read Protected CD? - CDROM-Guide forums

I was reading in this forum and someone posted that you have to edit something to make it read and make an image of protected cds? if so, what do I do?

No need to edit anything.. The settings vary on the protection used however...

You may be thinking of editing the registry to enable the Amplify Weak Sectors option, but this option is only needed by some drives when writting SafeDisc2 CDs and only for people in the US or Japan and has nothing to do with reading the CD.

If you don't know what settings to use for reading, then the easiest thing to do is probably to use a protection scanner such as Clony.

I have tried all sorts to copy this ace game m8 , all to no avail I am afraid , just burns coasters , so copy it with clonecd , then just crak it with the patch voilaa>

Hope that helps , oh get clony though coz that inports the settings direct to clonecd.

just go to control panel then regional settings then change them from englich united states to engkish canada it will be fully functional

Does clony come in english, cause i only found the german version and im hoping that it's not the only language available. My german isn't too good.
