CD-RW Samsung 208B not responding [; ; winNT3]

I have a Samsung CD-RW and when I try to burn with it I get the error message from easy CD creator...There are no suported Cd recorders available. Ensure that your Cd recorder is powered on and that all cables are properly connected...Any Ideas.
