Angry Plextor 12/10/32, tray problems

Hey, i dont know if n e one can help me but u guys are the experts. One day i came home to find the tray snaped out of my burner, a regular problem with my dog, normally i just gently put it back in place and it works like new. Now im havin mass problems, for starters it wont read any cd, i just recently got power back into it, and the only way to eject is to go into my computer and right click 'eject'.

If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you have a mechanical problem with the drive. Plextor make great drives but I don't think they have built them strong enough to handle multiple attempts by your Dog to disembowel it . Here's a [url=http://www.deinmeister.de/cdrep_e.htm]tutorial on cleaning & repairing CDROM drives. If the tray is just out of allignment you may be able to reseat it & get the burner opperational, if it's a broken tray it may be game over for the burner & that would be one expensive chew-toy.
