Kind of hard to change Windows settings if it hangs at the beginning of the BIOS check.

Try holding down the ctrl key or insert key when the system starts to reboot and don't release it until it gets past the NVRAM error. You may have a bad BIOS NVRAM (the flashable ROM).

We all have to play with our mental blocks sometime. Not sure if the NVRAM is soldered to the board, but I think it usually is (part of the BIOS).

i am stressing about all these crap e-mails i am getting from webmaster,postmaster jamman etc i think someone is using them....but i am copping it.......anyway they may have to replace the m/b. also try
entering the CMOS setup and "exit saving changes" even though u may not have changed anything...cheers.

thanks for all your replys I will try all the above, I only have one stick of 256 ram and everything is brand new so hopefully nothing needs to be replaced will let you know how I get on

I have tried all of the above with the exception of the RAM as I have only one stick with no luck, does this mean its likely to be my ram?
