Default (SmR) Download Movies??

I downloaded a movies from kazaa produced by the smr team, i assume it is in divx codec format so i downloaded to smr codec for divx and the like and the file still refuses to play (audio and video) can ne 1 help me get past this problem, the file i downloaded was star wars episode 2 : attack of the clones, so you can probably tell how desperate i am to get this file playing.

Please reply if you can help at all.

give more info. what software were you using to try to play it? what kind of error did it show?

I D/L that as well, I think it's just a fake file, I don't think EP2 is out yet

im trying to use windowsmedia player 7 to playit and it shows no error simply no video or sound, just shows a blank screan.

well...then i dont know what to tell ya. im almost for cetain that someone has a nice size file and just renamed and changed the ext to .avi or whatever you have. i dont think ep2 is out. try to change the ext to common things and try to open it. see what you wasted your time over. lol

just my thoughts thought. cause a wmp usually give some kind of error. maybe not though, who knows. lol, i think im just wasting a post. lol, anyway, hope i kinda sorta helped. lol again

Save yourself some disc space m8, and just delete it, if it was out it would be on every other post on the BST Forum!
