Panic, HDD Gone Down, Need Help
Panic, Scream, Help Me
Using partion magic v7, done a merge on partions c+d. All went fine rebooted and logged into windows, checked properties for C drive make sure all available disk space was in use, 60Gig!
Fine, Shutdown! Installed me new hard drive as slave!
Went to reboot, absolutely nothing, no partion no nothing, no c drive, just an unformatted 60 gig blob!
Well I have screamed, shouted, kicked the kids, thrown everything about and it still dont work, gone back into partion magic v7 and it will not undelete or change anything back there so thats a big no go area.
Have tried nortons etc etc still nothing!
I came across ontrack easy recovery that seems to work, does find thousands of files etc but its getting them back, SO, if anyone has had this trouble before and knows how to or what to do to get as much data back as possible then please please let me know. If not just wait for a suicide note in a day or two ok.

Have now found software called R Studio but only demo version can anyone help!! It find 's most of my files!
