a friend of mine who is a 'beta tester' (he gets new software on trial in exchange for feedback) has had this on trial recently, he says he wont be buying it

I can understand for the price (plus he already has a Beta copy).

There was some interest in this expressed here recently however. It seems some have been burned by purchasing CAVs MP3+Gs which include .mcg instead of .cdg files assuming they could burn them to CD+G. This software will now make that possible and salvage their investment. They should supply it free for purchasers of their non-standard MP3+Gs (or at least once a certain amount are purchased). They would possibly earn more pprofits by "giving away the shaver and selling the blades."
