Default How much better is a SCVD ?

When looking action movies, the quality of the VCD is very low (because of the lot of action). How is the quality when i use SVCDs?

Where can i find a list which recorder supports SCVD ? (I think that not all recorders do support SVCD?!)

SVCD quality is better than a DVD rip because it allows twice the resolution and more than 1 audio track.
